         Vocabulary about Travel and Tourism.
Nouns.
Accomodation: the act of accommodatingstate or process of being accommodatedadaptation.

Brochure: a pamphlet or leaflet.

Caravan: a large covered vehicle for conveying passengers, goods, a side show, etc.

Campsite: a place used or suitable for camping.

Cruise: to sail about on a pleasure trip.

Fortnight: space of fourteen nights and days; two weeks.

Guesthouse: a small building, separate from a main house or establishment, for the housing of guests.

Guide: a person who guides, especially one hired to guide travelers, tourists, hunters, etc.

Holidaymaker: vacationer.

Hostel: Also called a youth hostel.

An inexpensive, supervised lodging placefor young people on bicycle trips, hikes, etc.
Inn: 

a commercial establishment that provides lodging, food, etc., for thepublic, especially travelers; small hotel.

Luggage: suitcases, trunks, etc.; baggage.

Motor home: a small bus or trucklike vehicle with a roomlike area behind thedriver's seat outfitted as living quarters.

Resort: a place to which people frequently or generally go for relaxation orpleasure, especially one providing rest and recreation facilities for vacationers.

Set sail: a voyage or excursion, especially in a sailing vessel.

Time-sharing: Also, a time-shareA plan in which persons share ownership or rentalcosts of a vacation home, especially a condominium, entitling eachparticipant to use the residence for a specified time each year.

Tour operator: a person or company that provides package holidays.

Waiting list: a list of persons waiting, as for reservations, appointments, livingaccommodations, or admission to a school.

Verbs.
To book: to reserve or make a reservation for a hotel, a ship.

To confirm: to acknowledge with definite assurance:

To drive: to cause and guide the movement of (a vehicle, an animal, etc.).

To fly:
toin an aircraft or spacecraft.

To go on holiday:  to vacation.

To go abroad: to or in a foreign country or countries.

To go camping: to reside or lodge somewhere temporarily or irregularly, especially inan apartment, room, etc.

To go climbing: to go up or ascend, especially by using the hands and feet or feetonly.

To guide: 
to assist (a person) to travel through, or reach a destination in, anunfamiliar area, as by accompanying or giving directions to the person.

To hitchhike:  to travel by s on the side of the road and soliciting rides frompassing vehicles.

To hold a reservation: to set aside; reserve or retain.

To rent: To service cars, as by the day or week.

To go sightseeing: to go about seeing places and things of interest:

To sunbathe: to take a sunbath.

To travel: to go from one place to another, as by car, train, plane, or ship; take a trip; journey.

Adjectives.

Breathtaking: thrillingly beautiful, remarkable, astonishing, exciting, or the like

Exotic: of foreign origin or character; not native; introduced from abroad, butnot fully naturalized or acclimatized:

Picturesque: visually charming or quaint, as if resembling or suitable for a painting.

Outstanding: prominent; conspicuous; striking.

Impressive: having the ability to impress the mind; arousing admiration, awe, 
respect, etc.; moving; admirable.

Idyllic: suitable for or suggestive of an idyllcharmingly simple or rustic:

Sumptuous: entailing great expense, as from choice materials, fine work, etc.

Luxurious: characterized by luxuryministering or conducive to luxury.

Unparalleled: not paralleledunequaled or unmatched; peerless; unprecedented.

Overwhelming: that overwhelmsoverpowering.
